Mainstay are currently working with a large-scale FM service provider who are looking for an FM Mobilisation Manager across the UK. This role with be a 12-month fixed term, but offers an excellent package and an opportunity to work for a fantastic company with ample benefits.

The role will focus on awards that have been won within a large FM sector for all buildings and asset-related works. The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role and a background in mechanical and electrical contracts.  

The role will involve:

  • You will be overseeing and implementing mobilisation requirements for any new awards within the portfolio.
  • Reporting to the Head of Mobilisation you will be liaising with all operation staff across the contract and key stakeholders.
  • You will be working closely with the Asset Management, Compliance and Energy & Sustainability teams to ensure successful service implementation.
  • Liaise with all company employees and stakeholders to determine mobilisation and contract expiry solutions and strategy methodology.
  • You will understand current contract obligations on existing and new contract terms.
  • Liaising with the authority and building contractors to ensure client expectations and relationships are upheld.
  • You will be responsible for communicating with procurement business partners to ensure best practices are in place with suppliers.
  • Ensure that all contracts have an end date in line with contractual agreements and ensure that all obligations are met prior to commencement.

What you’ll need to do the job

  • Previous experience within the same role is essential ideally mobilising M&E contracts and working within the FM sector
  • Good technical background in the FM and building environment including IOSH, NBOSH and CSCS if available
  • Experience dealing with large-scale mobilisation projects
  • Ability to work to set contractual deadlines and create reports
  • Good knowledge of CAFM systems with excellent PC skills including MS Project and Excel
  • Confident and strong communicator both verbally and written
