Here at Mainstay Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager. The Sales Manager will join a fast-paced environment and look to bring on new clients within the South of England. The ideal candidate will have experience selling to large-scale businesses within Facilities Management. Please be aware the salary is negotiable based on your experience and knowledge of the industry. This role will be working from home with a monthly commute to the office in Manchester.
Roles and responsibilities
- Sourcing new sales opportunities to allow us to be a 3rd party supplier/sub-contractor.
- Targeting clients across the commercial/security sector.
- Effective networking with potential customers.
- Timely and accurate completion of quotations and other paperwork.
- Creating and maintaining an effective company sales database.
- KPI reporting weekly & monthly.
- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand a company’s customer base and solidify its presence.
- Achieving growth and hitting sales targets.
- Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relations by partnering with them.
- Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key demographics.
Requirements
- Measurable and proven successful track record in service-based sales
- Experience across the full breadth of the process, from enquiry to close
- Excellent attention to detail, experienced writing proposals, delivering presentations and writing statements of work
- Comfortable working autonomously, to targets and deadlines
- Strong use of sales software for driving process, transparency and clear dashboarding against targets
- Resilient, positive, self-motivated approach
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer focus, understanding the customers’ requirements then translating into a winning bid
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams/Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
