Mainstay is collaborating with a reputable PLC in search of a Fabric Engineer to become part of their team situated near Enfield. Role

• Fabric Engineer covering a large single site in the Enfield area
• General maintenance and completing various building maintenance that fall within joinery, carpentry, and basic plumbing
• Completing jobs across the site as and when needed such as tiling, painting, and fixing toilets and doors
• Delivering PPMs and reactive tasks
• Ensuring that all of your work completed is to a high standard and in line with company expectations
• You will be responsible for working in a safe manner and ensuring that all work completed is carried out in line with health and safety policies
• Working alongside and supporting any sub-contractors on site ensuring
• Liaising with other operational staff and dealing with escalations as and when they arise

Candidate

• City and guilds, NVQ in Site Carpentry or any other building services-related qualifications
• Previous experience within a similar environment is an advantage with an FM service provider background or client-side
• Must have worked on a large single site previously
• Strong work ethic and desire to progress and build on existing experience
• Must be a good team player and able to work on their own or part of a larger team
• Excellent customer-facing skills
• Good communication, both verbal and written
• Full UK drivers’ licence
