Home-based, with a requirement to be in the office, 1 day a week.

Mainstay are delighted to be working with an ambitious, growing IT MSP based in Swindon. They are seeking to add a New Business Account Director to their operation to help develop and win new business opportunities. The role of a New Business Account Director will involve winning opportunities with both public and private sector organisations.

Duties of a New Business Account Director:

  • Acquire new customers through marketing campaigns and networking.
  • Establish strong relationships with customers at all levels, this will include face-to-face meetings, telephone and email communications.
  • Develop and maintain management / executive level relationships with customer portfolios.
  • Develop and forecast a sales pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Work collaboratively with required resources to enable you to deliver IT solutions.

Essential skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in managed-services-based sales within the IT industry
  • Strong business development background
  • Proven background in managing profitable client accounts and relationships at all levels
  • Experience in selling and capability of working with complex engagements
  • Excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both internally and externally
