Mainstay Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Roll Forming Operator on behalf of our worldwide client, to join their ever-expanding site in West Bromwich. You will be required to operate a cold roll mill in a busy manufacturing environment.

Main duties of the role:

• Setting and operating rolling mills.
• Understand how to read drawings.
• Operate overhead crane.
• Set up off-cut of dies.
• Able to use measuring tools.
• Responsible for an effective shift handover and takeover.
• Ensures departmental and all company procedures are followed.
• Responsible for ensuring recycling is carried out to the agreed standard.
• Work to health and safety within your work area.
• Involvement in continuous improvement processes and driving through improvements in all aspects of the role.
• Ensuring that good levels of 5S are maintained on all machines, areas, and tooling.

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to operate roll-forming machines
• Pre-piercing knowledge advantage
• Working as part of a team and alone

Shift time: 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00, Monday-Friday/ 22:00-06:00, Sunday-Thursday

Pay rate: £13.50-£14.50/hour + overtime
