Mainstay Recruitment is happy to be working on behalf of our client, an IT Service Provider based in Birmingham, looking to add an IT Solutions Sales Executive to their growing sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Sell products from our expansive portfolio of services and solutions
- Sell Managed service solutions
- Develop opportunities via the acquisition of net new customers and targeting of existing and lapsed accounts
- Researching and gathering business intelligence across various markets
- Nurture and development of relationships through effective account management.
- Continually manage and develop a portfolio of accounts
- Work with our pre-sales and technical specialists to further develop our solutions and services portfolio
- Produce monthly sales figure reports
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in technical sales or selling technical managed service solutions.
- A strong communicator
- An honest and ethical approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and thrive in this environment.
- Ability to work in a team, working closely with the lead generation team and manager to achieve a positive sales pipeline and deliver a successful sales process.
- Looking for a role that is traditionally office based and enjoys the development opportunities that a team-based sales environment offers.
Experience required to be an IT Solutions Sales Account Executive:
- A minimum of three years of experience gained selling solutions and services
- Experience in utilising CRM systems
- Solid understanding of Server and Storage and core Microsoft technologies including M365
- Experience selling ‘as-a-Service’ solutions such as Firewall, Wireless, Security and Backup
- Experience negotiating complex deals
- Ability to build relationships and develop strategic partnerships
