Mainstay Recruitment are currently seeking a Picking Operative on behalf of one of our clients based in Cannock. As a Warehouse Picker, your daily roles and responsibilities will incorporate an array of tasks, including but not limited to;
- Picking items in bulk
- Ensure items are placed in correctly
- Use a handheld label gun and scanner
- Ensure deadlines are met for collection or orders
- Accurately pick orders to company standards
- Safe loading, handling, and unloading of all orders in line with health & safety regulations
- Assist colleagues and encourage teamwork to ensure targets are met
- Use of computerised in-house system
- Maintain standards of health & safety including protective clothing within the department
- Fulfil training programmes to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in personal development
- Liaising with other departments in a professional manner
- Ensure work area is clean and tidy
- Ad hoc duties as directed by the Operations Manager or Team Leaders

- Previous warehouse experience
- Good IT skills to use system
